E-PODS are now the NUMBER 1 selling marine electric drive
system in the USA! The E-POD is catching on! There have been
more E-POD systems actually installed ON BOATS and IN THE
WATER in the U.S. than any other "packaged" marine
propulsion system available. It's hard to believe how quickly
this idea is catching on! "I believe that it's partly due to our
approach to make the system affordable as well as a do it
yourself type of installation."

".........small company called Re-E-Power, which offers skeg-shaped
"pods" comprising electric motors and propellers designed to be
easily installed by either a do-it-yourselfer or a professional yard.
The pods look like an interesting small-boat alternative; a recent
installation was on a Com-Pac sloop."

NEW E-POD ALERT: 7/30/08
Temperature issues with the Navitas controller.
Due to the hot and humid temperatures of summer we are experiencing some issues with the
Navitas controllers shutting down due to over-temp issues. They shut down and restart after
returning to neutral, but at a "limp mode" reduced power setting.
RE-E-POWER will be sending out a HEAT SINK that owners can install on the back of their
controllers to increase temperature operating limits. The apparent issue happens when the
system is operated at more than 25-30 amps for more than 15 minutes in hot and humid
weather. IF you have experienced these problems please contact RE-E-POWER at
service@re-e-power.com and report any details you can  for us to pass on to the manufacturer.
Everyone should soon be receiving a heat sink with instructions on attachment. If you live in far
off countries you may want to find a supplier locally as they may charge you duties that are
more than the heat sink itself. There will be a PDF file explaining the process soon.
