STRICTLY SAIL MIAMI 08' WAS A BIG HIT!
We had a great time talking to a lot of people about the E-POD Systems this year at our
first time introduction to the Miami Strictly Sail show. Both Chicago and Miami have
shown a huge change in the public acceptance of the E-POD Systems and the electric
boat concept in general. The very first day I lost count of how many people shook my
hands and congratulated me for coming up with this system. And the number of people
who said "as soon as my motor dies, I'm doing THIS!" That was a huge change from a
year ago when they looked at me funny and wondered what in the world I had. I still get
those looks but only very few now. I hope to meet you all at another show in the near
future!
One of the biggest highlights in Chicago last year ('07') was Great Lakes Sailboats of
Michigan having the system 2000 on one of it's COM-PAC Yachts from Hutchins Company.

This year they have a new System 2000 on a Horizon Cat, and it looks better than ever!
They do great work. A truely beautiful pocket cruiser, and with the E-POD 2000 System
installed, it will be as pleasing to motor as it is to sail.
The craftsmanship of the Hutchins company is second to none. The installation will make
this beautiful design as pleasant to motor as it is to sail. No outboard on the back and no
diesel fuel inside. This is a boat I would love to own!
